Aloi and NMB Bank announce strategic partnerships for Digital Financing.
The agreement between Aloi and NMB Bank aims to leverage each other’s resources and skills in order to deliver innovative solutions to green and sustainable financing, beginning with the electric vehicle market in Kathmandu.
Aloi and Nabil Bank Limited has join hands for Digital Green Financing
The collaboration between Aloi and Nabil Bank seeks to provide digital lending services to electric vehicle entrepreneurs through Aloi’s digital loan and repayment tracking system.

Team Aloi has reached a new milestone!
We have digitally disbursed over US$400,000 in loans to support micro-entrepreneurs
Example of our loans: with National Microfinance, we assisted 16 female and 2 male borrowers with loans, driving training, and licenses. Most of them were either unemployed or earning minimal wages from manual labor. They are now earning a decent living as Safa Tempo (EV small buses) drivers. We are currently expanding to our next cohort of drivers!

Our co-founders met in 2017 at the Singularity University Global Solutions Program. As alumnae, we were mentioned in the Singularity University newsletter recently: ‘Tiffany Tong and Sonika Manandhar (GSP17) saw their startup Aeloi win the Women MSME Fintech Innovation Fund for their business that “uses digital tokens to channel impact investments into micro-enterprises.”’
