Administrative Assistant (Part-Time) 

Duration and Working Arrangement 

Contract Type: 1 year fixed-term employment 

Nature: Part-time 

Working Hours: Flexible, to be mutually agreed (5 – 6 hours per day) 

Location: Office-based [Kuleshwor, Kathmandu] 

Position Overview 

The Administrative Assistant (Part-Time) role will provide hands-on support to ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of office operations. This role is designed to support administrative, coordination, and basic operational tasks across departments. 

This part-time position is well-suited for bachelor’s level students seeking practical work experience alongside their studies, with a structured and flexible working arrangement. 

Key Objectives 

  • To support efficient office operations and administrative processes 
  • To ensure timely coordination of routine operational and logistical needs 
  • To maintain accurate records and support data management 
  • To contribute to a well-organized and responsive work environment 

Key Responsibilities 

  1. Administrative Support 
  • Maintain and organize physical and digital documentation 
  • Assist in preparing reports, letters, and internal documents 
  • Ensure proper filing and record-keeping systems 
  1. Data Entry & Record Management 
  • Accurately enter and update data in internal systems for different departments.  
  • Verify and maintain data accuracy. 
  • Generate basic reports as required. 
  1. Operational & Office Support 
  • Assist in procurement processes (quotations, coordination with vendors, follow-ups) 
  • Support day-to-day office needs and issue resolution like coordination for repairs, supplies, etc. 
  • Ensure availability of office supplies and materials 
  1. Coordination & Communication 
  • Liaise with internal teams and external vendors when required 
  • Assist in general communication and follow-ups 

Eligibility Criteria 

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (management, business, IT, or related fields preferred) 
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office tools (especially Excel and Word) 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Good communication and coordination ability 
  • Willingness to take ownership of routine and support tasks 
  • Ability to balance work with academic commitments
