This person will lead Aloi’s marketing and branding strategy and implementation. Our ideal candidate is excited about Aloi’s mission and wants to help us communicate it to the right audience in the most effective way. The person needs to understand online and offline marketing, engage with social media and traditional media, and have a tremendous willingness to learn. This person will work with our whole internal team.
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Aloi’s products/services, engage customers, and increase revenue.
- Create and manage digital and traditional marketing campaigns, including email, social media, and advertising, to raise awareness of Aloi’s mission.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for Aloi, and adjust marketing plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing channels.
- Conduct market research to identify and target potential customers, and develop customer profiles to inform marketing efforts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets and influencers to secure coverage of Aloi and its initiatives.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, and use data to make data-driven decisions to improve marketing strategies.
- Work with the sales team to develop promotional and sales materials, and support them in achieving revenue targets.
- Stay up-to-date with new marketing technologies, trends, and strategies, and make recommendations for adoption where appropriate.
- Great enthusiasm and skill in social media, digital video, and SEO
- 3+ years of experience with social media and marketing in a full-time professional capacity is required
- Attention to detail and the willingness to quickly learn new skills and concepts
- Experience in designing and creating different types of content
- A positive attitude that’s solution-oriented and unafraid to ask questions
- Interest and knowledge of tech, entertainment, and digital culture space
- Minimum availability of 40 hours per week (Usual office hours: 9:30 am – 5:30 pm Sunday to Thursday, flexible work hours acceptable)
- A self-starter as well as a team player (and a creative sense of humor!)
- Fluency in Nepali and English, with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Willing to work from office space (we are based in Kuleshwor, Kathmandu)
Remuneration will depend on your experience level and will range from 30,000 rs to 35,000 rs. Please send your salary expectations with your application.
