Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and eager-to-learn Junior QA Engineer to join our development team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or individuals with some QA experience who are passionate about quality assurance and software testing. You will be working with our in-house software, ensuring its reliability and performance. We offer comprehensive training to help you get up to speed with our systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and executing detailed test plans and test cases for our in-house software.
- Perform manual testing to ensure software functionality and identify defects.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
- Work closely with development, product, and design teams to understand software requirements and provide input on potential risks and improvements.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss testing progress and project updates.
- Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts for our software.
- Execute automated tests and analyze the results to ensure software quality.
- Create and maintain thorough test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of software development and QA methodologies.
- Internship or academic project experience in software testing or development.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools is preferred.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
